Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) – Malaysia’s Convergence Champion and No. 1 Converged Communications Services Provider, today has announced its partnership with MekongNet, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Internet Exchange Provider (IXP) in Cambodia. Through this partnership, MekongNet will be hosting and providing network infrastructure for TM’s multi-services node or Point-of-Presence (POP) in Cambodia. This will enable MekongNet to provide alternative connectivity solution to its customers as well as serving Cambodia’s growing demands for international internet bandwidth, through diverse routes, connecting to TM’s other POPs in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.

Echoing the spirit and sentiment of TM, Sok Channda, President and CEO of MekongNet, said, “Our potential carrier and enterprise customers, both existing and prospective, are constantly asking us to expand our presence overseas and we believe that this new partnership with TM will go a long way towards fulfilling these requests.
